Neptune’s Wrath

Flaming Chartreuse garnish makes gives this egg white sour a unique brulee finish.

Equipment

  • Cocktail Shaker
  • Cocktail Strainer
  • Fine Mesh Strainer
  • Coupe Glass

Ingredients

  • oz Dry Gin
  • ¼ oz Absinthe
  • ¾ oz Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
  • ½ oz Simple Syrup
  • 1 Egg White
  • ¼ oz Green Chartreuse Liqueur

Instructions

  • Wet shake Gin, Absinthe, Lemon Juice, Simple Syrup and Egg White.
  • Strain back into shaker to remove ice.
  • Dry shake and fine strain into chilled Coupe Glass.
  • Pour Chartreuse into a long-handled metal measuring cup, ignite and then carefully pour flaming Chartreuse into drink.
